Mounting Options
The Phantom Screens motorized retractable screens can be recessed from view by integrating the screens into your new build project, or they can be surface mounted onto existing structures. Garden State Retractables will help determine which solution will work best for your space upon a site visit.
Cable Guided Option
For projects with open corners or decorative columns, Phantom’s self-tensioning cable guided system eliminates the needs for posts or tracks and instead comes with the option to wall mount or floor mount the cable system. While the cable guided option will not keep insects out, it helps provide privacy from neighbors and reduce sun glare with the solar fabrics.
Remote Options
Phantom Screens is partnered with Somfy and supplies a wide range of remote controls for Phantom’s motorized screens. From handheld remotes, to in-wall remotes, and home automation tie in, there’s a solution that works for everyone!

Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take from when you measure?
After we come out to take measurements, we send you a formal quote for approval. Once we receive the approved quote, a 50% deposit, and our final measurements, we are able to place the order with the manufacturer. From there, it’s on average 4-7 weeks for us to get back out for installation.
What are my options for controlling the screens? Can I get manually operated screens instead?
Manual hand crank screens are an option available, but they are not a huge cost savings, which is why we recommend the executive motorized screens. For controlling the motorized screens, you have the option of a handheld remote, an in-wall remote, controlling through an app on your phone using a bridge, or by integration into your existing home automation system using a bridge.
Can you install on my space?
It depends! If you have questions, please send us photos of your space for us to review. We can determine if the Phantom Screens’ executive motorized screens will work for your existing area, if so what the options are, and if not, if there are any steps that can be taken by you or a contractor to allow for screens.
How long does it take for installation?
Motorized screen installation can take half a day to a full two days to complete. It will entirely depend on how installation is for your space, how many screens there are, type of mesh, type of housing/units, etc. There are a lot of variables at play, but we can discuss this per project to give you a better understanding.
