We’ll set up a date to come out for a site visit to finalize measurements, review options, and provide a formal quote. Then we’ll schedule your install!
Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take from when you measure?
After we come out to take measurements, we send you a formal quote for approval. Once we receive the approved quote, a 50% deposit, and our final measurements, we are able to place the order with the manufacturer. From there, it’s on average 4-7 weeks for us to get back out for installation.
What are my options for controlling the hurricane shutters? Can I get manually operated shutters instead?
For controlling the hurricane shutters, you have the option of a handheld remote, an in-wall remote, controlling through an app on your phone using a bridge.
We do not offer an option for manually operated hurricane shutters.
Can you install on my space?
It depends! If you have questions, please send us photos of your space for us to review. We can determine if the QMI Qompact hurricane shutters will work for your existing area, if so what the options are, and if not, if there are any steps that can be taken by you or a contractor to allow for hurricane shutters.
How long does it take for installation?
Hurricane shutter installation can take half a day to a full two days to complete. It will entirely depend on how installation is for your space, how many shutters there are, size of shutters, etc. There are a lot of variables at play, but we can discuss this per project to give you a better understanding.
